America’s Got Talent 2010 Recap of Season 5

by admin on July 22, 2010

America’s got Talent is currently in its fifth season, and the competition is hotting up. As expected soul singer Alice Tan Ridley, acrobat wall climbers AscenDance and blues singer Michael Grimm all progressed to the semi-finals.

Len Melisurgo over on nj.com has the full article. He writes that the only suspense in last night’s show was the judge’s decision on the fourth act, which was between hip hop dancing group Wreckless, opera singer Hannibal Means and magician/fire fanatic Antonio Restivo. Hannibal received the least number of public votes so he was out first.

The judges had then to decide which of the two remaining acts was to obtain the last position in the semi-finals. Piers Morgan picked Wreckless and Howie Mandel picked Restivo, leaving Sharon Osbourne with the tie-breaker vote. Sharon picked Antonio Restivo.
