Dell has announced their new Smartphone which they call the Dell Streak. This new phone/tablet boasts a 5 inch touch screen, Android operating system as well as 3G, Bluetooth and Wifi. It also has cameras on both the front and on the back, both with 5 megapixel resolution.
The full specs can be seen on the Dell Streak product page. The phone is advertised as a cross between a phone and a tablet, offering the size and functionality of a phone with the media display functionality of a tablet. When one of the Dell developers was interviewed on a Dell made YouTube video, he said that the phone does more than his Smartphone does whilst still remaining more portable than his laptop.
The Streak has a big 5 inch display, social networking applications are integrated into the design of the phone. The phone runs on Google’s Android OS and runs Google Maps and does everything you’d expect a Smartphone to do. The website states that the device should be avaliable sometime in late July.
